Navigating the Portal

Main Navigation

The main navigation bar at the top of the screen provides access to all major areas:

• Dashboard - Your home page with overview and quick actions
• Children - Manage child records and registration
• Submissions - Create and manage funding submissions
• Reporting - Reports dashboard and custom report builder (Nursery Managers and Head Office)
• Admin - Administrative functions (Head Office only)

Reporting Menu

The Reporting dropdown (available to Nursery Managers and Head Office users) includes:

• Dashboard - Overview statistics, charts, and funding period comparisons
• Custom Reports - Build, run, schedule, and share custom tabular reports

Breadcrumbs

Most pages display breadcrumb navigation below the header, showing your current location and allowing quick navigation back to parent pages.

Quick Actions

Look for action buttons in cards and tables:

• View - View details
• Edit - Modify a record
• Delete - Remove a record
• Add - Create new record

Keyboard Shortcuts

Use these keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation:

• Alt + H - Go to Dashboard
• Alt + C - Go to Children
• Alt + S - Go to Submissions
